Cambodia Celebrates Buddha’s Enlightenment Day PDF Print E-mail

Some 2,600 Buddhist monks have gathered at Phnom Penh’s Koh Pich Island on May 18 in order to mark the Buddha’s Enlightenment Day.

The ceremony was presided over by Lok Chumteav Dr. Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, senators, lawmakers, senior government officials and Phnom Penh dwellers.

Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Condemns the Use of Cluster Munitions PDF Print E-mail

It has been reported that the Thai authorities have used cluster munitions in Cambodia. Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre commented: “If these reports are true, this is a very serious matter.”
