UK Expresses Regret Over Thai Troops’ Shelling of Cluster Munitions Into Cambodia

The United Kingdom has expressed its regret over Thai troops’ shelling of cluster munitions into Cambodia’s territorial integrity. The remarks were made known by Mr. Charles Style, head of the UK Military School delegation, during a meeting here on May 18 with H.E. Heng Ratana, Director General of Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC).

Cambodian PM Hopes Next Thai Government Will Solve Dispute with Neighbouring Countries by Peaceful Means

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen hoped that the upcoming Thai government will be able to solve its internal problem, not bring dispute to outside and desire to solve dispute with neighbouring countries by peaceful means.

PM: Cambodia Plans to Take Ta Moan and Ta Krabey Temples Case to ICJ

If Cambodia and Thailand can not solve the border dispute at Ta Moan and Ta Krabey Temples in Oddar Meanchey province, Cambodia will bring the issue to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen said yesterday.

Cambodia Celebrates Buddha’s Enlightenment Day

Some 2,600 Buddhist monks have gathered at Phnom Penh’s Koh Pich Island on May 18 in order to mark the Buddha’s Enlightenment Day.

The ceremony was presided over by Lok Chumteav Dr. Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, senators, lawmakers, senior government officials and Phnom Penh dwellers.
