2011 Disabled Volleyball World Cup Competition Ended PDF Print E-mail

The 2011 Disabled Volleyball World Cup competition was concluded at Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh on July 29.

The closing ceremony of the seven-day tournament was presided over by H.E. Ith Sam Heng, minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation.

This event was organized by the Cambodian National Volleyball League Disabled (CNVLD) and the World Organization Volleyball for Disabled (WOVD) and supported by President of Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), Lok Chumteav Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen.

As the result, Germany won the Championship, while Cambodia took the runner-up at the final tournament.

The 2011 Disable Volleyball World Cup was participated six countries includes Cambodia, Germany, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Laos and Sri Lanka.
