|Foreign Delegations Learn about Decentralization and Good Governance in Cambodia|

Delegations from five countries including India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia have gathered in a short training course to learn about decentralization and good governance, particularly gender affairs in Cambodia and Asia.
The training course was held on May 11 and organized by Cambodia’s National League of Commune/Sangkat.
Head of Cambodia’s National League of Commune/Sangkat Mr. Soy Kosal briefed the participants on the development of commune/Sangkat in the country in line with the policy of decentralization and good governance at the grassroots level.
Regarding gender and children issues, commune/Sangkat councils have been paying special attention on enhancing the women’s and children’s role and well-being, he said.
